Load Restraint Transport Pallets(3 products)
Since 2018 when Chain of responsibility compliance was legislated warehousing and transport operators have become focused on ensuring they improve safety within their areas of control. Everyone in the whole supply chain has a key role to play in improving safety of equipment and materials in storage and transport.
The Containit range of certified transport pallets is designed to assist manufacturers, transport providers and end users safely move their goods from point of manufacture to storage location and right through to where the product is actually required. Our range of rated metal transport pallets not only have 3000kg rated tie down points they also have hundreds of threaded locations allowing items to be bolted down as an additional measure of safety in storage and transport. These heavy duty pallets are engineered to Australian standards including relevant safety factors and each include a plate so operators are aware of their capacities. The pallets also include the Containit world first positive locking pallet rack base safe design.
Changes to Chain of Responsibility Laws
As outlined by the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator CoR laws were introduced on 1 October 2018 aligning CoR laws more closely with workplace health and safety laws The aim of COR is to make sure everyone in the supply chain shares responsibility for ensuring breaches of the HVNL do not occur. Under COR laws if you are named as a party in the chain of responsibility and you exercise (or have the capability of exercising) control or influence over any transport task, you have a responsibility to ensure the HVNL is complied with. The law recognises that multiple parties may be responsible for offences committed by the drivers and operators of heavy vehicles. A person may be a party in the supply chain in more than one way. For example they may have duties as the employer, the operator and the consigner of goods. Our range of heavy duty transport pallets is one of the ways that OEM’s, end users and transport companies can work towards achieving COR compliance.
