Containit’s Steel & Pipe stillages are ideal for storage of long or bulky items that don’t need to be secured in standard enclosed pallet cages. Some items that are commonly stored in these steel stillages include, plumbing & electrical pipes, steel posts, carpet rolls, timber posts, etc. Both of the two height stillages have 4 way forklift and pallet truck entry.

Stackable Steel Stillages
With a footprint of a standard Australian pallet size, these metal stillages have a safe working load of 1000kg (UDL). These units are also stackable, and the cpps-1100 can be stacked 4 high with 1000kg in each stillage of the stack – providing great versatility when there is limited space. The cpps-750 can be stacked 5 high with 1000kg in each stillage of the stack. When these units are being utilised as stackable stillages, especially when being used to store lighter goods, (for example used as pipe storage stillages), it is recommended that these units are secured to the ground to prevent being blown by strong winds.

Designed for on-site safety
Each pallet stillage is supplied with our manufacturers plate confirming the SWL of single and stacked units, ensuring each operator knows the limits of the stillage, helping to prevent any Chain of Responsibility Compliance breaches. Where required by sites, anti-tipping bars can also be supplied.

To widen the type of goods stored in the post stillage, this unit is available with a sheet ply floor. This sheet floor can also improve manual handling processes where goods are slid across the pallet cage floor.
